Denis Jabaudon, University of Geneva, Switzerland
Denis Jabaudon performed his MD-PhD training at the Universities of Lausanne and Zurich, in Switzerland, where he studied the physiology of synaptic independence. During his postdoctoral training at Harvard University, USA, he investigated the molecular controls over cortical neuron diversity during development. He has been a faculty member at the University of Geneva, Switzerland since 2008, where he studies the interplay between input-dependent and genetic mechanisms during forebrain circuit assembly. He is the recipient of several national and international awards, and, in addition to his research activity, is a practicing neurologist at Geneva University Hospital.
